Ethan Carlos

Ethan is a national-level powerlifter and has coached since 2021 across strength training, movement, powerlifting and body composition. He has coached multiple athletes through national-level competition and onto the world stage. Across more than 200 clients, outcomes have included moving better, improving body composition, rebuilding confidence after injury-related setbacks and losing 20 to 30-plus kilograms. His background includes Certificate III and IV qualifications in fitness and a Bachelor of Exercise Science. He is currently studying physiotherapy and continues his professional development through movement mentorships and workshops. His coaching style is direct and educational: he explains how and why each part of the plan works, adapts training to the individual and helps clients build the confidence to apply what they learn.

Start with understanding

Ethan wants to know what you want to achieve, what has held you back and what training needs to fit around. The plan starts with your current ability and the outcome you want to work towards.

Clear coaching scope

Ethan coaches strength training, movement and practical nutrition habits. He is a physiotherapy student, not a qualified physiotherapist. When diagnosis or clinical treatment is needed, he refers to an appropriate clinician and aims to align training with their guidance.

Strength & Movement Coaching

Pain or previous setbacks can leave you unsure how to train. CPS helps you understand movement, build strength from your current ability and feel more confident in the gym, starting with what you can do now and progressing from there.

Weight Loss Coaching

You are ready to lose weight, feel stronger and build a healthier routine, but you do not want another short-term plan or more nutrition guesswork. If you need clear targets, realistic changes and a structure that fits work, family and training, this coaching gives you a process you can understand and repeat.

Muscle Gain Coaching

You train consistently and want more muscle, better body composition and measurable strength, but your current program or nutrition approach is no longer giving you a clear return. If you want each session to have a purpose and a plan that works around your schedule and movement concerns, this coaching connects training, nutrition, recovery and progress reviews so you understand how each part helps maximise the muscle-building return from your effort.

Powerlifting Coaching

You may be new to powerlifting with a strong base, or an experienced lifter whose squat, bench press and deadlift have started to plateau. If you want technical detail, programming you understand, accountability and a clear route towards a personal best or competition, this coaching develops skill and movement efficiency in the big three, builds the muscle base needed to keep moving towards your strength potential and teaches you how and why the process works.
