What we collect
A coaching enquiry can include your name, phone number, email address, coaching interest, goals, preferred contact day and time, referral source and additional information. If you become a client, CPS may also collect information reasonably needed to deliver coaching, such as training history, progress information, nutrition information, exercise videos, communications and billing records.
Health information and consent
Injury, pain, disability, medication and other health information can be sensitive information. Only provide what is reasonably relevant to coaching. The enquiry form asks for your consent before CPS collects health information you choose to include. Coaching does not replace diagnosis or treatment by a qualified clinician.
Website and referral information
The website uses local browser storage to remember the first and last page visited, referral address and campaign or click identifiers supplied in a link. If you submit an enquiry, this information may be included with it so CPS can understand how the enquiry reached us. You can clear it through your browser settings.
Why we use information
CPS uses information to respond to enquiries, assess coaching suitability, arrange a consultation, deliver agreed coaching, maintain training and business records, protect the website, meet legal obligations and address questions or disputes. A coaching enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing or educational emails. Separate consent is required before marketing messages are activated.
How enquiries and internal forms are handled
An accepted website enquiry is stored as a private record in the WordPress administration area and emailed to the CPS Google Workspace business inbox. Access to the private lead records is restricted to authorised WordPress users with editing permission.
When authorised CPS staff complete an internal coaching or consultation form with a client, the completed answers may pass through the CPS WordPress mail service to the restricted CPS Google Workspace business inbox. This internal mail bridge does not store those form answers as WordPress lead records. WordPress.com, Automattic, Google and their service providers may process information for hosting, email delivery, security and support.
Disclosure and professional referrals
CPS may disclose information to technology providers that operate the website, inbox or agreed coaching service; professional advisers; or authorities where required by law. Relevant information may be shared with a physiotherapist, exercise physiologist, doctor or other clinician only with your consent or where another lawful basis applies. CPS does not sell or trade client information.
Overseas processing
Some technology providers operate global systems, so information may be processed or stored outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where those providers or their subcontractors operate. CPS takes reasonable steps when selecting and using providers, but overseas privacy protections may differ from Australian law.
Instagram and external links
Instagram result previews shown on this website are hosted by CPS. Your browser connects to Instagram or Meta only if you choose an external Instagram link. Instagram, Facebook, Google and other external services then handle information under their own privacy terms.
Optional website analytics
CPS offers optional Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, with Google Tag Manager used to deliver consented analytics tags. These services do not load until you select Accept analytics. If you accept, they may collect the page path and title, a shortened referral address, campaign source, medium and name, browser and device details, approximate location based on your network address, and interactions such as coaching-link clicks, scrolling and page performance. CPS also records a website enquiry conversion only after the website confirms an accepted enquiry. CPS does not send your name, email address, phone number, coaching goals, enquiry answers, health information or advertising click identifiers with analytics events. The enquiry form is excluded from Clarity capture.
Your analytics choice
You can select Continue without analytics and still use every page, download every released resource and submit the coaching enquiry form. Your choice is saved in local browser storage. Use Analytics preferences in the website footer to change it. If you later withdraw consent, the page reloads and the analytics services are not loaded again. CPS does not use these tools for advertising tracking. Google and Microsoft may set analytics identifiers and process analytics information in other countries under their own privacy terms.
Automated decisions
Enquiries are reviewed by a person. CPS does not use automated decision-making that significantly affects whether coaching is offered.
Security
CPS uses reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect information, including private WordPress records, access controls and restricted business accounts. No online system is completely secure. Please avoid placing detailed medical reports or urgent health information in the enquiry form.
Retention and deletion
CPS keeps information only while it is reasonably needed for the enquiry, coaching relationship, administration, legal obligations or dispute handling, then deletes or de-identifies it where permitted. Records are not automatically deleted by the website. Where NSW health-record retention rules apply, adult records are generally kept for at least seven years from the last health service, and records made when a person was under 18 are generally kept until that person turns 25.
Access and correction
You may ask for access to personal information CPS holds about you or request a correction. Email ethan@catalystperformance.com.au or call 0468 825 762. CPS may ask you to verify your identity and will explain any lawful reason that limits access or correction.
Privacy complaints
Send a privacy complaint to ethan@catalystperformance.com.au with enough detail for CPS to investigate. CPS will acknowledge the complaint and respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or the Information and Privacy Commission NSW.
People under 18
If an enquiry concerns someone under 18, a parent or guardian should submit or authorise it. CPS will handle the information with regard to the person's capacity, privacy and applicable record-retention requirements.
Changes to this policy
CPS may update this policy when website tools, coaching systems, providers or legal obligations change. The current version and updated date will remain available on this page.
